After taking some time off just relaxing and spending time with my wife, I have moved into a new studio and have started to paint again. I have enjoyed this month.My wife and I decided to relax a little after graduating, so we took some time off and did a little traveling. We are poor post-grads so we didn't go far, mostly we visited my family, got out of the house, and just relaxed. Here are two more paintings from my project. The second one is more recent. In this one, I abstracted the figure much more to highlight the physical nature of the body without describing all the details. I want to avoid painting a particular body, and I believe the second painting is more successful in doing this.Ross

I have no images of my work to post today as I thought yesterday was Thursday so I didn't bring my camera to my studio. I had been meaning to go to the William Kentridge exhibit at the SF MOMA and I realized I the exhibit was ending soon so last Saturday Shannon and I went. Last week seemed to be the case of catching up on the things I have been wanting to do. There were a couple of artists showing work here that I wanted to see before their shows closed. As this semester comes to an end, I find myself focusing on my figure studio class for much of my time as there is a lot to do in that class right now.
